1933: "Drove to Madison today to meet with Oscar Rennebohm, Ralph Clark, and Eddie Hylan in regard to membership campaign for Wisconsin Pharm. Association. Oscar has quite a warehouse out on West Washington Street." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]

1957: "6:45 Mass by Father Milbauer - ten Sisters are present. Temperature 42° at 6:30. More rain. Had a pleasant surprise this afternoon. Ven. Sister Melora and her dad Laurie Mauritz visit with us. Sister has a day to spend with her folks. she'll be going back to Milwaukee tomorrow. The big kickoff dinner for the Cath. Hi. School Fund Appeal is held at the Park School Gym at 6:15. about 1000 men present. Bishop Bona and Msgr. Rapella are with us. Pledges up to this evening 135,000 dollars. C.P.
