1941: "Attended Holy Name Banquet at St. Peter's tonite.  A good turnout looked to be about 300 men present.  In the afternoon to the cottage to pick apples.  Donald (son) and Lawrence Kinateder are along.  Thres goes to Red Cross sewing this afternoon." [from A.E. Potter's diaries]
