1941: "Today marks an event in Donald's life.  He is confirmed at St. Vincent's Church by Bishop Paul Peter Rhode.  Edward Weisheipl is his sponsor.  We all have dinner at the Weisheipl's.  Edward had intended to take Donald to the Packers - Chicago Bears football game - and by the way the Green Bay Packers were defeated by the Bears 25-17." 1947: "Had eleven o'clock dinner with Donald then we drive to Neenah to Norm Brown's and on to the.  Packers - Bears football game.  It was a thrilling game and an upset for the Bears 29-20.   Sensational plays were made on both sides and even a touchback was registered and two beautiful goal kicks by the Packers Cuff." 1941: (Chicago) Norm Brown has to attend a saleman's meeting.  I was all by myself the morning and part of the afternoon.  Had lunch at "Fish and Chips" and them took in Marshall Fields - story by story - floor by floor from basement to the ninth floor.  It was plenty interesting...Forgot to mention that I took in the "Institute of Art" this morning.
