February 26

1951: "Couldn't get up so early this morning. Busy at the store trying to complete figures in inventory. Tonite we attend the Civic Music Concert of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. William Steinberg is directing 'Doris Dorie.'  Soloist is the best I've ever heard." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1954: "A fairly busy day at the stores. We attend the play Girl Crazy put on by the students of the Oshkosh State College directed by Roger Dennis, Director of the College Music Department. We enjoyed especially Dwain Vanderhoof as "Gieber' also Nancie Goggins."[from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1957: "Turned in my Charmin Paper Stock to Dick White today. To Kiwanis luncheon. Paul Whyte talks to us about the need for money for the Oshkosh Swimming Pool Fund. Paul states money is needed very urgently as we have to date about 28,000 dollars to match Mr. Pollack's $50,000. Our key sales people have a meeting at Lowell Robbins. Gale Robertshaw is in charge. It's about our Super Plenamins Drive in March and April. We are matched with Toller Drug Co. Sioux City, Iowa. Present at the meeting: Donald, Eddie Weisheipl, Ginny Abrams, Marge Haverty, Fred Baumgartner, Norbert Mueller, Diane Nichols, Adeline Steinhilber, Edna Bathke, Gale and myself." [from A. E.
