12. Tuesday: Drove to
Milwaukee to attend a meeting of the Druggist Service Bureau meeting.
After hearing a report of the financial condition of the Bureau, I made a
motion to dissolve the Corporation and sell out to some jobber. After
some discussion motion was unanimously carried.
Drove to Karls 1717 Bar and had a stake there. It was surprised to find Anna Drexler there. She was back from Chicago since Sunday. I brought her along home with me. She had been gone 3 weeks and Leona staid at
our house during this time.

26. Tuesday: Thres and I take a drive to Milwaukee
this morning. About 10 miles south of
Fond du Lac we run into light snow which turns into a bad blizzard when we get
further south. When we got to Milwaukee
stopped at Karl and Margaret Radomsky’s for dinner. The storm is very bad. The ladies go shopping at Boston Store – Gimbels
and DE Luxe Novelty Co. while I attend the last meeting of the Stockholders of “Druggist
Service Bureau,” and also had a visit with A.O. Haas at the “Howdin Distilled
Products” 935 No. Water St. Phoned the
folks at home at night and find they are O.K.
27. Wednesday: Spent the night at Margaret and Karl’s. It is still snowing this morning. Started for home at 10.15, the roads out of
Milwaukee are still very bad. Arrived
home at 12.30. Find the fire out at home,
a fuse had blown, which means a job for me.
28. Thursday: Temperatures are down to 5° above
this morning. Well, this is real winter,
plenty of snow and almost zero weather, and more snow coming up during the day. Thres did not venture out to play Bingo at
the Eagle’s tonite. The roads are too
bad. Anna Weisheipl however was not to
be kept at home, and she was lucky, won 135 but had to take a
buss home, which is not as convenient as having Ma Potter for chauffeur
29. Friday: Forty Hours Devotion begins at St.
Vincents, this morning.
30. Saturday: Christmas Shopping is supposed to
begin today, but we are having more snow and a lot of it, in fact so much that

530 mass this morning – Donald served.
Took on a special job this evening, after shoveling the walks, cleaned the
attic and that really was a surprise for Thres and Mary. It hadn’t been cleaned for about 5 or 6 years,
in fact some of the things in it hadn’t been moved for 10 years, but we
finished the job by 10.30 P.M. Com. Ted Drexler
