1936: "Today is a record breaker for heat. The official temperature is 107° at 2:30 this afternoon." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1947: "To 7:30 Holy Name Mass, then to work. Both Male and Mixed Choirs have their outing at our cottage today. Monsignor Bastian, Father Alphonse Wagner, Josephine, Madeline Bastian are present. About 75 people attend the outing. Temperature is 90°. Rain this afternoon about 10 minutes, tonite one hour. Took moving pictures this afternoon. Folks leave for home about 10 P.M. They all enjoyed a pleasant  time according to reports." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1950: "Father Alphonse Wagner takes Thres, myself and Lester Borisch to Milwaukee. We stop at the Cook Service Bureau to get our itinerary for our trip abroad in Sept. Stop at the Pfister for luncheon. Shop at Gimbels - complete our work on the itinerary, back to Oshkosh at 6:15. Took Father Alphonse along to Winneconne to the South Side Business Men's Inspection Tour of the New Grade and Hi School combined. Had a very nice chicken dinner. Called on Father Victor Kandy after doing the school. The conversation centered on our trip - Fatima - Necedah. Home at 11:15 P.M." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1996: Brian Kolaske, son of Mike and Debbie (nee Potter) Kolaske, grandson of Don and Arlene Potter, great-grandson of A.E. and Theresa Potter weds Christine Oien.
