1941: "Drove to town for 7:30 Mass then to work until 1 P.M. Took Aunt Mary, Thres, Mary Ann, Dolores and Lawrence Kinateder to the Strand to see Bob Hope and Dorothy Lamour in Caught in the Draft also James Stephenson and Geraldine Fitspatrick in Shining Victory. We all had a treat at Joe Pollack's Fountain - Boston Nut Sundaes, Banana Splits, etc. Worked until 8:45 then back to the cottage.
