1949: "Ordered beer (People's) for the wedding this morning. This afternoon get a set of silverware for Donald and Arlene, Mother gets a string of pearls for our anniversary. Stopped at Hilda's. Mary Ann tried on her gown, stopped at Joe Staudenraus Studio made appointments for church and dinner pictures also to Bud Hrnak's for description of flowers and bouquets. 1952: "Rose Weisheipl back on the job after two weeks vacation. Earl Fuhs makes his first official call as Lilly representative. This afternoon took Father Murphy with me to the St. Lawrence College. alumni meet at Mt. Calvary. Had the pleasure of meeting Mons. John Dopp, Fort Wayne, Indiana a classmate whom I have not seen since I left Mt. Calvary 45 years ago. Most of the boys that usually come were there. Had a nice visit with Rector Father Gerald Walker also met Rev. Provincial Father Cyprian Abler. In the evening met Father Sylvester Brielmaier whom I had visited in Rome in 1950.
