June 14

1935: "Have read the news that Joe Fisher 45 died on June 5th at Fort Harrison, Montana. Joe was an adopted son of Edward Fisher and Kate Fisher. He came to Oshkosh when I did from the foundling house at New York. He also attended St. Vincent's School."  [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1940: "Donald goes to the Camp-o-ree at Menominee Park this afternoon. Flag Day Celebration at Elks Club House marks the end of two months of special honor to the American Flag. Frank Keefe is principal speaker; he donates a large flag which was flown on the U.S. Capitol at Washington."  [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1948: "Donald and Mary Ann are beginning a course in summer school. Donald in chemistry at State Teachers, Mary Ann at Hi School in World History." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
