It really hurt me to do it, but it just couldn't be helped. Dick Dorman had an accident last night . Bumped his head on a glass door in the dark and cut his nose quite badly. 1952: "Rain most of the day today. Received a letter from Parsberg. Ma and Emma Siewert go shopping this afternoon. Ma gets a new dress & shoes. Mary Ann dresses on approval from Hilda's. Emma stays with Thres after shopping. I took the folks out for sinner, but it took a long time to find a place to serve us. Otto's Hi K, Armin Ostertag, Schwartz at Omro all closed, ended up at Ray Robbins for a fine meal. The waitress gives me 10 dollars too much change, but I returned it to her.
