1933: "Took Ed to the cottage this morning. 7:30 service lasted nearly two hours this morning. Corpus Christi Procession followed the Mass. In the evening Mrs. Joe Weisheipl, Anna and Margaret Drexler are at the cottage. Margaret looks and acts very lonesome. Joe Heip leaves for Chicago. The corner stone for the new Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church on Nebraska and Ninth Streets is laid today. Rev. Schuster is the pastor." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1934: "St. Vincent's graduates spend the day at our cottage. They are chaperoned by Fathers Bastian & Haen, & Sister Ambrosia. Attended the meeting of the Executive Board of the Wisconsin Pharmaceutical Association at Fond du Lac this evening. Dropped in to see Cap Ruggles after the meeting. John Demgen was my pardner." 1975: Jason Potter, son of Mark Potter, grandson of Don and Arlene Potter, great-grandson of A.E. and Theresa Potter is born.
