1942: "We get a new linoleum (floor) at our cottage today. Father Bastian takes six boys to St. Nazianz to visit the Salvatorian Seminary. Our Donald is one of them and is very enthusiastic about the place." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1953: "Slept long this morning until 9:15 A.M. then to work. This afternoon to visit Aunt Mary at the hospital. Sister Laurentia has a nice new vestment for their chapel. It is to cost me 200 dollars. also visited Sister Machtilde's and advised her to leave _______ in Germany in as much as he can obtain a position as foreman in a shoe factory. 1955: "William Steiger, son of Carl E. Steiger of the Deltox was elected Governor of Badger Boys State at Ripon College yesterday on the Nationalist ticket. The body of Olivia Lutz brought to Fiss and Bills from Milwaukee. Born June 15, 1890 in Oshkosh. We were classmates in St. Vincent's and Park School." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
