1954: "To 7:30 Hi Mass - Holy Name - Father Milbauer spoke on the Creation. My father, Stansilaus Jarosch, passed away 47 years ago today. R.I.P. I was 16 at the time. Worked 3 hours this morning. Attended stations of the cross at 1:30. Worked another hour, then a short nap. Took Thres and Mary Ann (daughter) to John Bauer where Carrie has a shower for Mary Grable. Alvina Putzer tells me she is getting over a body rash and itch. She is using Cortef Oint. Worked most of the evening also paid last respects and attended rosary for Clarence Schneider at Poklasny.  Mary Ann and self had a 'Tenderloin Luncheon' at Club 375, then out to Aunt Annie. Corky has income tax trouble, haven't we all. Home at 11:30."[from A. E. Potter's diaries]
1955: "Donald (son) takes over as buyer for M.P.D. Co. To 6:45 Mass. Father Umhoefer, Jesuit, has the Mass. A professor from Marquette Father Dachauer was a classmate . The Holy Mass is offered  at the St. Mary's side altar..." [from A. E. Potter's diaries]
