1940: "Blance Kollross is divorced from Ed Kollross this morning. Thres attend the Eagles Bingo Party tonite. South Side Cub Pack 44 have a "Pot Luck Supper" at 10th St. Methodist Church basement today. Our family attend as "Donald" (son) belongs to this pack and is to be transferred to Boy Scout Troop 18 St. Vincent's. Mayor Oaks and Mrs. waited on table, and that is service." [from A. E. Tonite we attend the Civic Symphony concert at the Recreation Hall. Donald (son) is one of the violinist. Took Anna Weisheipl, Thres Fretschl, Emma Siewert, Joan Mauritz with us.
