1933: "The Banks of Oshkosh open today for business. They have been on holiday for 12 days. We are all glad to see them open again; business surely was poor while they were closed. 1951: "Donald (son), Arlene (daughter-in-law) and Diane (Arlene's sister) drive to Milwaukee today. It is a pleasant day, the first in a long time. Met Don Gerth there, he took them thru Marquette Dental School. They visited at Carl and Margaret Radomski's also saw Ralph Flanigan's orchestra at the Riverside. Matt Mertz is 84 today. So.
