Kathy Mueller according to an application is interested in taking up nursing at Mercy. I made out a recommendation for her. My DeSoto hits 61,000 miles this morning. Mrs. Paul Wertsch entertains the S.S. Business Men's Auxiliary at her home this afternoon. Took mother over at 1:45. She says about 50 ladies present, with a prospect of at least 6 new members."
