03.  Tuesday: Almost forgot meeting of the Drug Service Bureau Inc. at Milwaukee.  Took 11.40 train to Milwaukee in a hurry without any dinner.  The boys are there about 45%.  Met Ed Worm there.  Took 11.40 P.M. train home.  Met a Mac Fraser on the train.  He is very interesting to listen to.  He is from New York State.  Knows Art Kingston of the Oshkosh National Bank.
04.  Wednesday: Rose (Drexler) Gittings has a birthday.  She is 22.

07.  Saturday: Mary Anne’s Birthday today.  She is six years of age.
08.  Sunday: Communion at 7.30 this morning.  Then to work.  Church in the afternoon.  Took the children along.  Then to Matt Baier for a short visit.  Home for a bath and then back to work the rest of the evening.  Out to Heips after 11 oclock.  Sheephead until 1 A.M.

10.  Tuesday: A real spring day today.  Temperature above 50 and snow is going fast.

12.  Thursday: Mrs. Steckbauer (Ed’s Mother) is 82 years of age today.

15.  Sunday: Attended 930 Mass this morning.  Bowled with the “Foresters” this afternoon at St. Mary’s Alleys.  Bowled 142 – 117-170.  Haven’t bowled for several years.
16.  Monday: Am a sick lady today.  Stomach is bad, and I also have “Charley Horse.” Harold Mueller takes over the “Werbke Store.” Fred Baumgartner is transferred to the North Store.

18.  Wednesday: Mary Anne loses her first tooth.  Attended the movie for a change.  “The Country Doctor” is the picture, featuring the Dionne Quintuplets.

21.  Saturday: Took the family and Anna Drexler, her girls Margaret and Leona to Berlin to see her daughter Agnes and the new baby boy “Jackie” Kujawa.  Spent a pleasant afternoon and part evening there.  Dropped in to see Fred Marquart at the Drug Store.  Harry showed me the homes of some of the well-to-do at Berlin.  Menasha High School is destroyed by Fire early this morning.  Loss about $300 000.
22.  Sunday: Attended 7.30 Mass St. Joseph’s Society to Communion.  Father Bastian has a short German Sermon for their benefit.  About 50 members were there.  Margaret Drexler Radomsky has a birthday.  She is 28.  John Drexler “Mrs. Potter’s Brother is 61 today.
23.  Monday: A lovely spring day.  Temperature is 65° above.
24.  Tuesday: Heavy Winds today.
25.  Wednesday: Harold Mueller Cora and Andrew Anderson drive to Baraboo this afternoon.  I took charge of the store while they were gone.  Thres and Anna Heip see the “Del Wright Review” at the “Strand.” After work we pay “Gust Jeschke” a visit.  He is as congenial as ever.  I stumbled on a large stone, fell and bruised my hands and knees on Rugby Street, just before going home.
26.  Thursday: Sleet and Rain.

28.  Saturday: Ed Fretchel’s family celebrates by taking a bath in a bathtub.  This is a novelty for them.
